Episode 57: Meghan Collins Fanning on Injury Prevention and Running


meghanMeghan Collins Fanning is a runner, triathlete, endurance athlete, yogi, and an avid outdoors junkie. To add to that she is also a wife and mother to 4. Meghan also is certified to teach Power Yoga/Yoga for Athletes/Yin Yoga, an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, CrossFit Endurance Certified, and a USA Cycling Level 3 coach. I have both my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Counseling Psychology.

So yeah … she’s kind of a big deal.

After watching Andrew and me suffer through our training and injuries on Facebook, the websites, and now listening on the podcast she started contacting us through messages offering to help us …. which is kind beyond words. We asked her to come on the show to share her knowledge with us and you, our loyal listeners.

After talking to her for two plus hours she has probably provided one of the most information dense episodes we have ever had, and we hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording it for you.

  1. OMG, that whole discussion about foot injuries, stability, balance, etc., etc.!!! Fabulous. (And I’m only halfway done with the show.) Oh, and my Saucony Triumphs are an 8mm drop.
